Thursday Afternoon

Since our post yesterday afternoon, she is now wireless with final removal of the IV and drain.  It sure makes getting up alot easier. We have now taken three steps forward instead of two and she is getting stronger everyday. The Doctor was in this morning and cleared us to go home. Woohoo!!!! It will be nice to heal in the comfort of our own home. Most of all Jackson's first Middle School basketball game is Saturday and that means at least I will be able to attend. I can record it and let her watch when she feels up to it.

She is doing good and she feels like she is ready to come home. Thank you for all your prayers during our hospital stay. She knows a long road of recovery is still ahead and sometimes anxiety and fear overcome her thoughts.  Please continue prayers of strength and healing.

  2. That is wonderful news!We are continuing to pray day and night, and will
now be praying for safe travel and that Tracey has a comfortable, pain
free trip home.I really believe she will be less anxious in her own
surrounding and just getting to see Jackson will lift her spirits.
Thank you for updating on this blog, I haven't had to bug Mickey daily
    this time.

  3. What great news to know the Dr. trusts her to come home earlier than planned. This is great but I'm sure scary as well. I'm continuing to keep all of you in my prayers! Tightly, in my prayers!

  4. YEAH! So excited for you guys! Praying as you travel and prepare to come home. Asking God to cover every anxious thought you have with His comfort.
I am sure Jackson is thrilled you will be able to be at his game on Saturday. It is hard for me to believe he is in middle school already!

  7. Thank you, Father for being with Tracy and this family at this journey they are on. Thank you that you have walked every step and your eyes have been constant upon HER and you have ordered her steps and moments each day. Man is not in control...but you are! Thank you that you hear every time she cries out to you and your love is so strong and faithful. How wonderful to know that the Lord of the Universe listens and cares and answers.

Father, there are things happening right now that causes her to feel weak, helpless and afraid. Even in the midst of this, comfort her in knowing this situation is in Your hand. I pray for strength, comfort and courage that she would be able to endure this situation each and every day...step by step...moment by moment. Cover her with a blanket of peace and assurance...and rest.

  8. Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. When Mickey told us yesterday that Tracey was cleared to come home, I swear I heard the "Halleluah Chorus". Praying for an uneventful trip home and for continued healing. Tracey you are going to be better than ever (if that is possible).

    XXXXOOOOO,
    Mollie Moo
